Summary

Before the battle begins, Muten Rōshi sneaks back into the rival wings and urges Kuririn to pay close attention to the ongoing match. Tsuru Sennin expresses his confidence that Tenshinhan will win because he must win to avenge Taopaipai. A battle between the schools begins and Gokū and Tenshinhan exchange furious blows. The two competitors appear to be relatively equal, but Tenshinhan's ability to fly and use of the Dodonpa gives him a slight advantage.

Gokū attempts his disappearing act again, but Tenshinhan's three eyes allow him to sense Goku's location, e.g. it happened that during Gokū and Kuririn's match and counterattacks. He attacks with a furious combo, slamming Gokū into a wall and unleashing a flurry of shots that Muten Rōshi likens to being fired from a machine gun. Tenshinhan hangs Goku by the collar and prepares to deliver the final blow.
