Summary

Raditz howls with laughter as he points out that it's too late to retreat now, and then his two friends who are stronger than him arrive. As Piccolo points out how excited Goku would normally be, the other gets chills at the thought. Forgetting their predicament, he asked the Saiyan sibling to tell him where Gohan was. He admitted that he wasn't hiding the child because he had placed him in the tackle ball because he wouldn't stop screaming. He rises into the air and yells at his son that he will save him soon, only for Raditz to laugh that he gave his child hope. Rejoining Piccolo on the ground, they braced themselves in a second before attacking the Saiyan warrior.
They charge forward and are unable to break through his defenses, his sheer speed allowing him to easily dodge their attacks from the front and back. Two earth warriors rise into the air and chase after them. However, before they reached him, the intergalactic soldier merely gestured with his hands and released large streams of powerful ki. While Gokū narrowly avoids the explosion, Piccolo loses his hand and the prior receives a vicious kick from his ruthless brother. As Emerald's arch-rival Gokū says he can fight with one hand, Raditz laughs and snaps that he will rip his head off. Without the new techniques invented by the schoolboy turtle, Piccolo reveals a new move he recently developed, which he unfortunately reveals in front of his rival.
